Votto or A Ramirez
Please someone solve this keeper conundrum for me. Don't worry, it's not for this league. Relevant info: 12 teams, 4 keepers, I have 11th pick, OBP instead of AVG, other keepers are Soriano, B.J. Upton, and Sabathia. A related question might be has Ramirez become more valuable now that A Rod is out supposedly out for at least 10 weeks. 3B might have become a thinner position.

They seem pretty evenly matched. Ramirez has history on his side (including injury history) whereas Votto is a bit of a hope/projection with more upside. I would take Ramirez, though, based on the position eligibility.
is 3rd base a thin position? let's just assume, for arguments sake, that this is the top 9 according to some website. Is ARam that far ahead of Zimmerman/Atkins or others to say that the position is thin?
