It's never too early to start thinking about next year's keepers. A few things to remember:
-Teams should use the auction results posted on the blog to calculate a player's 2008 value. They must account for:
1. Auction value in 2007 (if any)
2. Inflation of $3 (unless player was 25 or younger as of opening day 2007)
3. Any injury adjustments
4. Any adjustments made due to the player being picked up off of the FA market or waivers
-The minimum value for any keeper is $15. This includes players who were not drafted in 2007.
-Rosters will be frozen on the last day of the season.
-A fifth keeper slot may be made available for one minor league player drafted prior to the 2008 auction. This issue will be finalized during the offseason.
