The draft order for the minor league draft (one round) is as follows:
(1) Maniacal Mets (Brandon)
(2) Minaya's Last Stand (Justin)
(3) Handbalman (Jimmy)
(4) Name in Progress (Wes)
(5) TINSTAAP (Matt)
(6) Long Island Fluke (Dan)
(7) Boston Doodles (Ryan)
(8) Los Del Rio (Paul)
(9) Replacement Levelers (Rich)
(10) PECOTA Monkeys (Dave)
Please keep in the mind the ground rules for the draft. Basically, everyone gets at least a calendar day to make their pick from eligible players, i.e. all players not in someone else's minor leagues that are eligible for the rookie of the year award this season. In this regard, only one player has been official released and is eligible for re-draft - Fernando Martinez. If someone doesn't make their pick in the allotted time, just keep going and they can catch up later. If anyone noticed a mis-pick, feel free to jump in and let us know. The draft starts at midnight tonight (or whenever the first pick is made).

Dear Managers,
Welcome to your inaugural BPGPL fantasy baseball 2011 email. You may have seen this coming from the yahoo invite you got yesterday or so. Since the football season is over, it is time to turn to baseball and get excited. So, the few action items I have are as follows:
2/23/11 Deadline for League Fees*
3/1/11 Start of Minor League Draft/Deadline to Release Minor League Players
3/10/11 End of Minor League Draft
3/15/11 Keeper Deadline
3/27/11 Tentative Draft Date (you may be able to vote for adraft date that works for you using this link: http://bpguineapigs.wikispaces.com/2011+Draft+Scheduling )
You may have noticed that I moved up the deadline for league fees from last year. I am still waiting for league fees from some people for last year and even the year before. So, I would like fees ASAP this year. I will definitely boot you from the league in the event that league fees are not paid IN FULL by that deadline. I would love to consider the option of removing league fees altogether due to the hassle this has caused me, but I can't do that until I get the compensation due to me, personally.
As always, let me know ASAP if you will be not playing this year.
Also, note that the minor leagues have been around for 3+ years now, consequently some of you may have full minor leagues. If you want to participate in the minor league draft, please let me know who you want to release by the deadline. The minor league rosters are available at http://bpguineapigs.wikispaces.com/Minor+Leagues .
There have been some minor changes to the constitution, which I won't bore you with. All records will henceforth be kept at the wiki, http://bpguineapigs.wikispaces.com/ . We'll be in touch.
